Temporary / Relief Coverage Position Overview Huckeye Health Services is seeking a qualified and dependable Temporary / Relief Medical Director to provide physician leadership and medical oversight services for the Veterans Home of California - Redding. This role requires a physician who can provide timely medical direction, respond quickly to service requests, and support continuity of care when relief or temporary coverage is needed. Required Qualifications Current and unrestricted California M.D. or D.O. license Must be in good professional standing Must be able to provide medical director services in accordance with applicable clinical, regulatory, and facility requirements Strong communication, clinical judgment, and leadership skills Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, geriatric care, veterans care, or medical direction preferred Location Requirement- This is a mandatory requirement The physician must: Currently reside within 100 miles of the Veterans Home of California - Redding Availability Requirements The Medical Director must be able to: Maintain telephone availability 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Respond to CalVet service requests within 1 hour Provide requested services within approximately 24 hours , unless another schedule is agreed upon Key Responsibilities Provide temporary or relief Medical Director coverage Offer clinical leadership and medical oversight Respond promptly to facility and CalVet service requests How to Apply To apply, send your resume and credentials to:
