Job Description

Job Summary The Licensed Therapist provides direct mental health services and plays a key role in supporting clinical operations across allcove and Wellness & Prevention Center (WPC) sites. This role includes providing therapy to youth and families, coordinating new client intake processes, supporting intern clinicians, and ensuring effective communication, documentation, and clinical systems support. The therapist actively collaborates with clinical leadership, Prevention staff, and school/community partners to ensure high-quality, culturally responsive services. allcove centers welcome young people ages 12 to 25 with mild to moderate needs looking for support. allcove centers provide resources in six service streams: mental health, physical health, substance use, peer support, family support, and supported education and employment. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Clinical Services
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Conduct assessments and screenings including risk assessment and management.
  • Provide brief interventions including one-session-at-a-time and single-session interventions.
  • Develop deep knowledge of documentation systems and maintain compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in clinical team meetings and provide feedback, support, and guidance to staff and trainees. Intake & Client Coordination
  • Serve as the first point of contact for new mental health intake requests from prospective clients and families.
  • Conduct intake meetings to gather relevant clinical information and assess service needs.
  • Match new clients with an appropriate clinician and coordinate scheduling of first sessions.
  • Meet with clinicians to communicate intake details, ensure smooth transitions, and answer questions as needed.
  • Create, track, and maintain a workload-balancing log for clinicians, including PSS caseloads and terminations. Clinical Team Support & Operations
  • Serve as first-contact for clinical questions from intern clinicians and provide mentorship and support.
  • Assist staff and trainees with troubleshooting issues in Athena, Datacove, and other clinical systems.
  • Provide consultations with other members of the clinical team including clinicians, trainees, and other staff.
  • Develop, organize, and update clinical documents and forms (consent forms, emergency contact sheets, intake questionnaires, safety plans, C-SSRS screeners, etc.) in collaboration with the Clinical Director.
  • Attend weekly allcove Team Meetings to relay clinical updates, pose questions on behalf of the clinical team, and report on action items.
  • Take meeting notes and distribute summaries to help staff track decisions and follow-up tasks.
  • Send periodic update emails to allcove clinicians, PSS, and leadership summarizing meeting content and announcements. Community & Program Engagement
  • Collaborate with other WPC team members to ensure program fidelity and to provide clinical support.
  • Participate actively in professional development, training, and team-building activities. General Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate professionalism, including punctuality, teamwork, positive communication, and the ability to accept feedback.
  • Follow organizational policies, procedures, HIPAA requirements, and ethical codes of practice.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the WPC Executive Director and other WPC directors. Education & Experience Requirements
  • Master's, PsyD, PhD degree in the mental health field.
  • Active license registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or California Board of Psychology.
  • Strong commitment to the WPC mission of supporting the health and well-being of youth and families.
  • Experience working with youth 12-25 years old.
Pay:
$34.00 - $47.00 per hour
