Job Description
Responsibilities:
Available for consultation 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and arranges coverage when not available. This role is for Physicians who desire attending and or Medical Directorship with in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Certify that the patients meet the medical criteria for overall care based upon available diagnostic and prognostic indicators, review of medical records, and nursing reports. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure that the medical needs of the patient are met and provide evidence-based initiatives for individual diagnosis, treatments, and plans of care. Review of medical records, and nursing reports. Review clinical outcomes, adverse events and infection control programs and Oversee Quality Assurance and QAPI. Flexible schedule for administrative duties. Maintain on-site presence and be available for consultation when clinically necessary.Compensation and Benefits:

MD or DO from accredited medical school. Active, unrestricted medical license Board Certified or Board Eligible (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics Preferred). Have current state and federal registrations to prescribe and administer drugs, including controlled substances. The Medical Director has the required licensure, education, training and qualifications required by rule, regulation, law and/or statute to qualify for the role in their state. Eligible to participate in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Provides comprehensive medical direction to Facility.
