Where Hartford HealthCare New Britain, CT, United States Description Lead the Future of Palliative Medicine in Connecticut Shape the future of compassionate, patient-centered care. Hartford HealthCare, Connecticut's most comprehensive integrated health system — with more than 40,000 colleagues, 2,800 providers, 500+ locations, and eight acute care hospitals — is seeking an accomplished Hospice & Palliative Medicine physician to lead the distinguished Wolfson Palliative Care Program serving The Hospital of Central Connecticut and MidState Medical Center. This unique leadership opportunity combines 50% administrative leadership and 50% clinical practice, allowing you to influence strategy, mentor the next generation of physicians, and continue providing meaningful patient care. The position includes a faculty appointment with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Why This Opportunity?

The Ideal Candidate You are an experienced physician leader who combines clinical excellence with emotional intelligence, humility, and a collaborative leadership style. You are passionate about advancing palliative medicine; advocating for patients, families, and care teams; and developing innovative programs that improve quality of life. Qualifications
  • MD or DO
  • Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
  • Fellowship-trained and board-certified in hospice & palliative medicine
  • Minimum three years of palliative care practice experience
  • Minimum two years of physician leadership experience
