Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Conduct regular medical check-ups and screenings for crew members onboard the cruise ship Diagnose and treat any medical conditions or injuries that may arise Provide emergency medical care in case of accidents or emergencies Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all crew members Educate crew members on health and safety practices and procedures Collaborate with the ship's captain and other medical staff to ensure the overall health and safety of the crew Monitor and order medical supplies and equipment as needed Conduct health and safety training for crew members as required Stay updated on medical advancements and best practices in the maritime industry
Requirements:
Medical degree from an accredited institution Valid medical license and certification to practice as a doctor Minimum of 5 years of experience as a doctor, preferably in a maritime or remote setting Strong diagnostic and treatment skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Experience in emergency medicine and trauma care Knowledge of maritime health and safety regulations and protocols Willingness to work on a rotating schedule and be on call for emergencies Valid passport and ability to travel internationally as needed
