Medical - Director of Nursing

Sequel Youth and Family Services isa privately owned company that develops and operates programs for people withbehavioral, emotional, or physical challenges. Our mission is to prepare ourclients to lead responsible and fulfilling lives by providing mentoring,education, and living support within a safe, structured, dynamic environment -whether on one of our campuses, in the community, or in their own homes. We arecurrently looking for a RN Registered Nurse for a residential program in PompanoBeach FL that is operated exclusively for the State of Florida Department ofJuvenile Justice.

Position Overview:

The RN provides professional nursingcare to patient/students by utilizing the nursing process and assists inimplementing direct daily care of clients. Helps to develop an individualized treatment plan in conjunction with patient/student, family and multidisciplinary team. Identifies short and long term measurable goals, including discharge planning, consistent with patient/student care standards, nursing practice, and policies and procedures. Assesses patient/students upon admission and throughout hospitalization utilizing observational and interviewing skills.

Job Requirements:

Current state of Florida residency.

Must have current registered nursing license by the State of Florida Board ofNursing. Preferred adolescent or children experience in a mental health field,but not required. Ability to read and write at a high school graduate level,analytical skills, time management, problem-solving skills, organizationalskills.
