Medical Director Physician

AdventHealth West Florida Division Women's Services is seeking an Executive Medical Director. The director's medical specialty can be OB/Gyn, Maternal Fetal Medicine or Urogynecology. This leadership role will be 60% administrative and 40% clinical time.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Physician shall provide clinical direction, oversight, and physician leadership to all AdventHealth employed Ob/Gyn practices in West Florida. As Executive Medical Director, the physician leader provides strategic and clinical leadership that drives measurable improvements in patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and quality performance across the hospitals. The physician leader collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to standardize care pathways, implement evidence-based practices, and align physician engagement with organizational goals. In addition to outcomes-focused leadership, the physician leader plays a key role in physician recruitment, onboarding, and staffing optimization ensuring the service line is supported by high-quality clinicians and structured to meet both current demand and future growth. The work strengthens clinical excellence while building a sustainable, high-performing care team.

MD or DO Active Florida Medical License Active US Board certification
