Job Description
Deaconess Illinois Clinic is offering a competitive 12 month guaranteed salary of $325,000 for a full-time Family Medicine Physician, along with a $50,000 sign-on bonus tied to a 5-year contract. Additional Medical Director compensation up to $15,600 is also available. Clinical Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, including preventive services, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Perform routine physical exams, health screenings, immunizations, and preventive care services. Develop and manage treatment plans for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. Perform minor in-office procedures and assist with more complex procedures as needed. Ensure continuity of care through follow-up visits and coordination with specialists. Educate patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and wellness strategies. Respond to urgent care needs and manage emergency situations when necessary. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and clinic protocols. Leadership & Management Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision, oversight, and support for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs). Ensure advanced practice providers deliver safe, high-quality patient care. Mentor and collaborate with clinical staff to uphold strong standards of care and regulatory compliance. Foster a positive, team-focused environment that supports continuous professional development. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and evaluations of clinical staff. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing patient care process enhancements. Compensation & Benefits Guaranteed 18-month base salary of $325,000 Competitive, productivity-based compensation model (many providers exceed into the 90th percentile) $2,000 Residency Stipend Up to $90,000 loan repayment Generous sign-on bonus of $50,000 for 5-year or $36,000 for 3-year contract. $15,000 relocation allowance Quality bonus up to 2.5% Must hold or obtain Illinois medical licensure
