Job Description

Northern Light Acadia Hospital is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our inpatient care team in a unique role supporting Adult and Pediatric Inpatient Services . This is a full-time opportunity (32 hours/week) designed for a practitioner who values both collaboration and autonomy within a specialized psychiatric setting. Schedule of Friday and Saturday, 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM, on-site. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations Initiate and manage treatment interventions, including medication management Provide follow-up evaluations as clinically indicated Lead and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings Collaborate closely with Medical Directors, psychiatrists, other PMHNPs, therapists, and behavioral health technicians Service as a clinical resource, mentor, and preceptor for inpatient staff Demonstrate strong clinical judgement, leadership, and teaching skills in a fast-paced environment
Compensation Information:
$99,184.55-$104,798.72 annual base salary. The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position.
