$181,879.60 - $310,332.06 per year

401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Retirement plan Vision insurance Duties Assist the Hospital Director with the hiring, assignment, supervision, appointment, reappointment, credentialing, and discipline of Organized Medical Staff (OMS) members. Provide supervision and oversight of Physicians and Nurse Practitioners (NP) within their respective areas, serving as the collaborating physician for all Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) and ensuring competency. Deliver direct medical services to patients and/or residents at EMSH, focusing on primary care, acute care, internal medicine, or family practice. Perform patient care that require a physician, and take "medical on-call" as the secondary provider to the dual NP. Approve medical consultations, procedures, and transfers to other medical facilities, ensuring proper care coordination. Lead discharge planning with consideration of patient environment, resources, and skills. Serve as Medical Policy Director and/or conduct peer reviews to ensure compliance with established standards of care. Monitor and review quality indicators and assessment measures to ensure high performance of services provided. Maintain accountability for accurate and timely documentation in accordance with medical policies, practices, and protocols.. Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with active medical licensure. DEA license Proven experience in hospital settings or healthcare management roles with supervising experience . Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, supervise staff, and foster a collaborative environment. Excellent communication skills to articulate complex medical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
