Job Description

Korzen Health is seeking an experienced and driven Primary Care Medical Director to partner with one of our established primary care group practices in Rocky Mount, NC. This is a full-time leadership opportunity combining clinical practice with medical directorship responsibilities. Position Overview 32+ hours/week of direct clinical care 8+ hours/week dedicated to Medical Director responsibilities Collaborative leadership role focused on quality, compliance, growth, and efficiency Key Responsibilities Participate in the development and expansion of practice service offerings, including ancillary services, joint ventures, and partnership opportunities. Serve on practice committees and attend meetings as requested. Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance with company and practice policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Provide clinical and industry expertise to advise on current and future service offerings. Support quality management initiatives, including monitoring and reviewing clinical performance of healthcare professionals. Recommend and assist with implementing workflows, processes, and policies that promote safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Advise on equipment, facility needs, and operational resources required for effective practice operations. Recommend, evaluate, and review training programs for clinical and non-clinical staff. Participate in recruitment and onboarding activities for physicians and advanced practice providers. Supervise mid-level providers in accordance with North Carolina Medical Board and North Carolina Board of Nursing requirements. Enhance provider productivity and operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of patient care. Perform additional non-clinical or business development duties as assigned. Qualifications MD or DO with Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Active or ability to obtain North Carolina medical license Prior leadership, medical director, or supervisory experience.
