Job Description:
We're partnering with a highly respected, full-service veterinary hospital in North Carolina that is seeking a compassionate and motivated Medical Director to guide its clinical team and help shape the future of an already successful practice. This is an exciting opportunity to join a spacious, well-established four-doctor hospital that has built a loyal client base across the surrounding communities through exceptional patient care and strong client relationships. The practice cares for dogs, cats, exotic pets, and small pocket pets, offering a varied and rewarding caseload alongside a collaborative team environment. The hospital sits on an impressive three-acre site and is equipped with modern technology including digital radiography, advanced diagnostics, laser therapy, an in-house laboratory and pharmacy, laser surgery capabilities, and a brand-new state-of-the-art underwater treadmill supported by two Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistants. The team is passionate about delivering high-quality medicine while creating a supportive workplace where professional development is genuinely encouraged. As Medical Director, you'll enjoy a blend of leadership and clinical responsibilities, with dedicated administrative time to focus on medical standards, team development, protocol implementation, and hospital growth initiatives. You'll work alongside an experienced support team and credentialed veterinary nurses, mentor fellow veterinarians, and collaborate closely with hospital leadership to drive continued success.
