An Emergency Medical Director within emergency medical services is a physician who provides guidance, leadership, oversight and continuous quality improvement (CQI) for the practice of local EMTs and paramedics within a predefined area. Typically board-certified in emergency medicine or pediatric emergency medicine. Generally responsible for either the creation of protocols for treatment by prehospital providers or providing leadership to the group of physicians who assist with the provision of medical oversight depending on which model of service delivery and which model of medical control are operating.

TeamHealth is willing to train new graduates for the position and you are encouraged to apply. Previous experience as an emergency medicine NP or PA in an emergency department or urgent care setting is a plus. OhioHealth Grady Memorial Hospital features : ED annual volume: 21,000 17 ED hospital beds Admission rate: 12% APC schedule: 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday); 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the weekends Candidates must be available for all shifts including 2 full weekends a month Join us today and get started in the most rewarding career!
