Job Description

Functioning within the Health System's mission, vision, values, policies and procedures, the Clinical Intern functions as a partner to the Registered Nurse with the goal of providing quality patient care. There will be multiple opportunities for peer group discussions on the clinical experience, including interactions with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers. The Clinical Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to clinical quality and organizational strategic goals through the development of an evidence-based project which will be focused on a specific clinical area/patient population: medical/surgical, critical care, emergency medicine, perioperative services, or transitional care/rehabilitative services.
