This role combines hands-on veterinary medicine with leadership responsibilities and offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on patients, clients, and team members. Key Responsibilities Lead Clinical Excellence Establish and maintain high standards of medical care and clinical protocols Provide guidance, coaching, and support to associate veterinarians Promote consistency in patient care, client communication, and medical outcomes Support quality improvement initiatives and best practices Inspire and Develop the Team Mentor veterinarians at all stages of their careers Foster a collaborative, positive, and growth-oriented culture Partner with hospital leadership on recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and retention efforts Lead doctor meetings and encourage continuing education and professional development Drive Practice Growth Collaborate with leadership to achieve hospital goals and performance objectives Identify opportunities to expand services and improve efficiency Support client retention and growth through exceptional medical care and client experience Help guide strategic initiatives that strengthen the practice for the future Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school Eligible for or currently holds Ohio veterinary license Strong interest in small animal medicine and surgery Commitment to high-quality patient care and client service Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment Minimum of 3 years of veterinary leadership experience required Strong surgical skills; orthopedic experience is a plus Demonstrated success mentoring and developing veterinary teams Core Competencies Small Animal Medicine Preventive & Wellness Care Client Communication & Education Diagnostic Interpretation Surgical Proficiency Dentistry & Oral Health Medical Record Documentation Team Collaboration Problem Solving & Critical Thinking Compassionate Patient Care Time Management & Organization Continuous Learning & Professional Development What We Offer Competitive salary plus leadership incentives Generous bonus package- including relocation Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off Continuing education allowance and CE support Leadership development opportunities Professional membership and licensure support A collaborative environment where your leadership can make a meaningful impact Join Our Team If you are an experienced veterinarian seeking an opportunity to lead, mentor, and help shape the future of a growing practice, we encourage you to apply and learn more about Reynolds Road Animal Hospital.
