This role involves overseeing Nurse Practitioners (NPs) providing in-home and mobile primary care services, ensuring clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and patient safety across all operations. This is an ideal opportunity for a physician interested in leadership, flexible scheduling, and population health in a growing mobile healthcare model.

Accepted Specialties:

We welcome physicians board-certified or board-eligible in: Family Medicine (FM) Internal Medicine (IM) Geriatrics Primary Care / General Practice Preventive Medicine Urgent Care / Emergency Medicine (with primary care experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical oversight and supervision of Nurse Practitioners in mobile PCP settings Review, co-sign, and audit patient charts as required by state regulations Be available for consultation and clinical guidance to NPs Ensure compliance with state, federal, and payer (HMO) guidelines Support quality assurance, clinical protocols, and best practices Participate in case reviews, performance improvement, and training Maintain responsibility for medical decision oversight and patient safety

Qualifications:

Active MD or DO license in California (required) Board certification in an accepted primary care specialty Experience supervising Nurse Practitioners (preferred) Strong knowledge of primary care, chronic disease management, and mobile/home-based care Familiarity with HMO models and documentation standards Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

Compensation & Structure:

Flexible structure: Part-time, contract, or per diem Competitive compensation based on scope: o Monthly stipend, hourly, or per-chart review options available Malpractice coverage support (if applicable) Typical Compensation (Los Angeles Market): Full-time / supervising-only roles: ~$3,000 per month

Work Schedule:
