Job Description

Bring Better to the Bedside, a Medical Director in North Augusta, SC, at Martintown ER. We believe in bringing "better" to our local community in Aiken—better care, better collaboration, and a deep commitment to the people we serve. We currently cover 3 sites across the Aiken area, including Aiken Regional Medical Center, Sweetwater ER, and our new ER location on Martintown Road, opening this September.
Local Team Collaboration:
Join our close-knit team of 6 physicians and 3 APPs at Martintown ER as well as the ER at Sweetwater. Join a diverse team with a broad spectrum of expertise and experience.
Qualifications:
Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine. A collaborative team player with a patient-centered approach.
Scheduling:
Flexible scheduling and opportunity to work between all 3 sites. Provide clinical and operational leadership for both North Augusta FSEDs, overseeing provider teams while supporting the System Medical Director with administrative responsibilities and covering occasional clinical shifts at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide coverage for FSED's with flexibility for scheduling at Aiken Regional. Manage all aspects of community emergency medicine, collaborating closely with colleagues and consultants. Living and Working in
North Augusta, SC:
North Augusta is part of the greater Augusta metro area and sits directly across the river from Augusta. Offers a lower cost of living with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment throughout the Augusta area. Located within driving distance of Columbia, Charlotte, and the South Carolina/Georgia coast for weekend travel.
Rewards and Compensation:
