This role provides strategic and operational leadership, manages resources, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize clinical services, patient outcomes, and staff development. Depending on departmental needs, the Senior Director may focus on specialized areas such as Emergency Services, Surgical Services, or other clinical domains, adapting leadership to meet specific service line requirements. Essential Functions Leads clinical operations for the designated area, establishing and implementing policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent and quality patient care. Develops and executes strategic initiatives to support growth, resource optimization, and alignment with organizational goals. Collaborates with clinical and administrative leadership to monitor performance metrics, implement quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Provides leadership and direction to clinical management and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ensures staff training, competency, and professional development are aligned with clinical standards and organizational objectives. Oversees patient safety and risk management initiatives within the department, addressing issues proactively and ensuring a safe care environment. Performs other duties as assigned. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Complies with all policies and standards. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required 8-10 years of experience in clinical management, with significant experience in a senior leadership role within a specialized service line (e.g., Emergency, Surgical) required 4-6 years of experience in management in a large tertiary facility or Market required Experience in leading successful performance Improvement efforts in an acute care setting required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of clinical operations, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement in healthcare settings. Strategic and analytical skills to guide service line growth, resource management, and process optimization. Leadership and team-building abilities to develop high-performing clinical teams and foster a collaborative environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff, leadership, and external partners effectively. Budget management and resource allocation skills to support efficient and effective service delivery. Licenses and Certifications RN

• Registered Nurse
• State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required CENP
