You will play a pivotal role in directing clinical operations, focusing on delivering exceptional care to our vibrant community. Drive innovative health solutions while managing a diverse patient portfolio in an exclusively outpatient setting, free from the constraints of night or weekend shifts. Partnership with care teams to enhance patient outcomes is key to this role. This opportunity encompasses leadership in infectious disease treatment as well as a broad spectrum of primary care services.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure delivery of comprehensive care to patients, aligning with clinic productivity standards. Seamlessly manage appointment scheduling to optimize patient flow and minimize cancellations. Maintain meticulous documentation within the EMR system, ensuring compliance with medical coding standards. Provide holistic primary care, addressing chronic and acute conditions effectively. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to offer increased access to care, including handling walk-in consultations smoothly. Analyze and act promptly on diagnostic reports and lab results. Facilitate timely prescription management and coordinate patient communications with efficiency. Mentor and supervise advanced practice providers, ensuring alignment with clinical objectives. Participate in rotational on-call duties to support continuous care. Commit to ongoing licensure and certification requirements, including progress towards AAHIVM certification.
Qualifications:
Active MD or DO license, with valid DEA registration. Minimum two years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting. Proven track record in managing case loads of 14-18 patients per day.
