Job Description

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced emergency physician seeking a blend of clinical practice and leadership while enjoying the charm of Georgetown just minutes from the culture, dining, and entertainment of Austin. About the Facility Level IV Trauma Center 18-bed emergency department with approximately 22,000 annual visits Physicians see approximately 1.7 patients per hour with an 11% admission rate Supported by 26 hours of daily physician coverage and 20 hours of APC coverage
EMR:
MediTech Robust specialty backup including anesthesiology, cardiology, ENT, gynecology, hematology/oncology, internal medicine, interventional radiology, and more Leadership Opportunity Assistant facility medical director role with dedicated administrative responsibilities Partner closely with the facility medical director to support departmental operations, physician engagement, quality initiatives, patient experience, and overall emergency department performance Help mentor physicians and APCs while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered culture Opportunity to develop leadership skills within one of the nation's leading emergency medicine organizations Position Details W2 employed position Base rate + RVU compensation model Additional monthly administrative stipend Lucrative sign-on bonus Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage Comprehensive benefits and health insurance Candidate Requirements ABEM board certified Minimum of two years of post-residency EM experience preferred Prior leadership experience preferred but not required Active clinical practice within the last 12 months ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (expired certifications accepted) Interested in learning more?
