Job Description

Join a busy, well-resourced emergency department in Killeen, Texas, where you'll practice high-quality, patient-centered care in a 30-bed ED that sees more than 50,000 visits per year and serves as a Level IV Trauma Center. We're looking for an Emergency Medicine physician who thrives in a fast-paced setting, values teamwork, and wants flexible scheduling and strong institutional support. What you'll do: Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute medical and trauma conditions. Provide care across the acuity spectrum, including high-acuity and trauma cases appropriate for a Level IV trauma center. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, safe, and coordinated care. Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Contribute to a culture of continuous quality improvement and patient safety.
Schedule and work structure:
Flexible scheduling with four shift types: Day, AM Swing, PM Swing, and Night. Option to work three consecutive shifts for better consistency and work-life balance.
Compensation and benefits:
Competitive pay: $300 per hour. Sign-on and relocation bonuses. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. Facility is PSLF-eligible for qualifying candidates.
Qualifications:
ABEM board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine. Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Texas. Strong clinical judgment and the ability to perform well in a high-volume ED.
