Virtual Medical Director / Collaborative Physician

(Physician/MD qualifications required) Family Practice - Virtual Primary Care Physician -Medical Directorship | Part-time (2 days per week providing collaborative oversight for APRNs) Convenient to San Antonio, Texas We are seeking a Family Practice Physician interested in working as a Medical Director and providing collaborative oversight for 8 APRNs two days per week for a community based rural health clinic. The oversight and chart review responsibilities can be done virtually through their on-line portal and via Zoom. The Physician would be requested to work 2 days per month on-site as well, but the majority of the work will be managed virtually. This location is located within a commutable distance to San Antonio. The Physician would receive a base salary of $110,000 per year with associated benefits. Additional work the physician elects to provide would be paid on an hourly basis and is negotiable. Malpractice is covered under the FTCA (Federal Tort Claims Act) as well and this FQHC qualifies for loan repayment as well. Excellent opportunity for a Physician to add to their revenue stream by providing this support to an under-served community based clinic.
