Job Description

The Emergency Services Patient Liaison is responsible for making positive first impressions. This team member serves as a liaison between patients, families, and staff to ensure consistent communication standards are maintained. They also maintain presence in the Emergency Department through patient rounding, assistance in service recovery efforts, and completion of discharge phone calls. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a human services field 1- year previous experience in customer service Skills Must possess written and verbal communication skills. HIPAA - appropriately manages Protected Health Information (PHI). Able to meet physical and mental requirements of position in fast-paced, complex acute care setting. Annual education and competencies as required per hospital certifications. Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision. Ability to interact with colleagues, supervisors and customers face to face.
