Job Description

Join a well-established, hospital-employed ophthalmology practice in scenic Rutland, Vermont, as the Medical Director of Ophthalmology. This full-time leadership role blends a vibrant clinical practice with the opportunity to shape and expand ophthalmic services across a respected regional health system. What you'll do Provide high-quality patient care within a high-volume, referral-driven practice. Lead and mentor a collaborative team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and certified ophthalmic assistants. Oversee clinical operations, quality initiatives, and service development across the department. Utilize an updated suite of diagnostic and surgical equipment and dedicated OR block time at a modern procedure center.
