Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCH) is growing! CVCH is a dynamic, progressive community health center with locations in Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, and Chelan. We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Medical Director-Express Care, at our East Wenatchee location. The Medical Director is a senior level administrative position with responsibility for all medical services at the assigned CVCH site. This responsibility includes the authority to oversee all aspects of healthcare delivery, regulatory compliance, quality, efficiency, and the supervision of assigned medical providers. This is a full-time position, currently 0.2 FTE Medical Director and 0.8 FTE Family Medicine Physician, as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Participates in shared call system with other providers as assigned. The Medical Director is directly accountable to Chief Medical Officer.

  • Position Requirements:
Education:
Must be a graduate of an accredited medical school and must have completed a residency program. Must be a board
  • certified primary care physician. Management experience preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
Must possess current, valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Washington. Must have a valid DEA license. Basic Life Support (BLS) required. ACLS or ATLS may be used to substitute for BLS. All Providers must be eligible for enrollment in Medicare and must not be currently opted out of the Medicare program
    Experience:
    Must possess experience in a leadership role which demonstrates administrative responsibilities in a progressive health care facility and includes personnel management, fiscal controls, health planning, and other related activities. Experience working in a community health center or managed care environment preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
      Language Skills:
      English and Spanish fluency preferred.
