Position Overview The Regional Medical Director plays a critical role in overseeing psychiatric and medical services across their designated region, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. This leader will coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including medical staff, the SRD, site leaders, referral sources, and insurers, to deliver seamless and effective healthcare services. As an integral member of the Medical Leadership team, the Regional Medical Director works collaboratively with the CMO and other executives, serving as a key resource for both medical and behavioral health teams, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. In partnership with the CMO, the Regional Medical Director actively shapes regional care delivery models, monitors care standards, and supports continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. This position requires a strategic leader with strong clinical insight and the ability to implement best practices and innovative solutions across a multidisciplinary team.
