Position Summary:
PacWest is seeking a dedicated Medical Director to lead our clinical care team. The ideal candidate will provide medical oversight, ensure regulatory compliance, promote best practices in primary medicine, and support our commitment to quality care for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary clinical leader within the facility Oversee all aspects of medical care for residents ARNP/PA oversight and support to team. Provides compliance with federal and state regulations, including CMS guidelines Collaborate with nursing staff, attending physicians, and administrative leadership Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives Facilitate infection prevention and control efforts Provide guidance and education to clinical staff on geriatric care standards Attend interdisciplinary care plan meetings and family conferences as needed
Qualifications:
MD or DO with a valid unrestricted medical license in Washington State Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred Leadership and team-building skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
Preferred:
3 years of experience in post-acute or long-term care settings Knowledge of SNF regulations and CMS requirements Experience with value-based care models and quality metrics (e.g., QAPI, Five-Star Ratings)

Salary of 300,000 - 400,000 and benefits package with bonus options Flexible schedule (part-time or full-time options) No on-call or after hour requirements.
