Medical Director (MD/DO)
Location:
Appleton, Wisconsin Compensation:

A mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in the heart of Appleton, WI is seeking an experienced Medical Director to help shape the future of patient care, elevate clinical quality, and support an exceptional team of providers.   • Competitive base salary: $250,000 $280,000+
  • Annual productivity bonus: $87 per encounter
  • Health insurance: 70% employer-paid + 75% of out-of-pocket medical costs covered
  • Dental & vision coverage: approx. $194/year
PTO:
3 weeks in year one , plus 7 paid holidays (including 1 floating holiday)
    Retirement:
    403(b) and IRA with 4% employer match , fully vested after 4 years
      CME:
      $500 annual allowance
      • Life insurance: $100,000 employer-paid
      • Short- and long-term disability: 100% employer-paid
      Malpractice:
      FTCA coverage
      • Relocation assistance: $3,000
      • Student loan repayment: Up to $75,000 (NHSC + WI Office of Rural Health)
      • Additional options: AFLAC, pet insurance What You ll Do
      • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary clinical team
      • Supervise and support 3 Nurse Practitioners ; collaborate closely with 3 physicians
      • Deliver direct patient care (ideal: 20 clinical hours per week; flexible for full-time schedules)
      • Champion quality initiatives, clinical best practices, and compliance standards
      • Guide provider onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing performance development
      • Participate in leadership meetings and collaborate on strategic systemwide decisions
      • Integrate behavioral and primary care approaches in a team-based model
      • Must be willing to obtain MAT certification (training supported)
      EMR:
      Athena What We re Looking For
      • MD/DO licensed or eligible in Wisconsin
      • Board Certified or Board Eligible (must certify within one year)
      • Minimum 3 years clinical experience ; leadership experience preferred
      • Current or eligible DEA
      • Ability to supervise APPs
