An Emergency Medical Director within emergency medical services is a physician who provides guidance, leadership, oversight and continuous quality improvement (CQI) for the practice of local EMTs and paramedics within a predefined area. Typically board-certified in emergency medicine or pediatric emergency medicine. Generally responsible for either the creation of protocols for treatment by prehospital providers or providing leadership to the group of physicians who assist with the provision of medical oversight depending on which model of service delivery and which model of medical control are operating.

Job Description

Roane General Hospital in Spencer, WV a 60 bed Critical Access Hospital with 35 SNF/ICF beds, 25 acute care beds, Level IV Trauma Emergency Department, four Rural Health Clinics and a walk-in clinic is currently seeking applicants for a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Emergency Department •
LIMITED TIME
$2500.00 SIGN-ON BONUS•Qualifications Experience in the Emergency Department preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and a focus on patient-center care are a necessity. Applicants must be licensed in the state of WV and must complete the following certifications within one year of employment: ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, NRP and Telemetry Interpretation. Applicants must hold a current BLS certification. The schedule for this position is typically 11:00am-11:00pm. This position will require every other weekend rotation.
