Key Responsibilities:
Develop accurate radiation dose calculations and treatment plans using advanced planning systems in accordance with physician direction. Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, therapists, and medical physicists to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Review charts for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with current protocols and safety standards. Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives. Maintain meticulous documentation and communicate clearly with all members of the oncology care team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or clinical degree in a radiation therapy-related field. Certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB), or eligibility. Proven competency in treatment planning systems such as Eclipse, Pinnacle, or similar platforms. Prior experience in clinical dosimetry in a hospital or cancer center. Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
