Job Description

Description This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic medical practice while providing exceptional care to patients with complex oncology needs. As a Locum MD specializing in Radiation Oncology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients using advanced radiation therapies. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop tailored treatment plans that align with the latest medical advancements and protocols. This role is pivotal in enhancing our patient care delivery, ensuring quality outcomes in a supportive and innovative environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments Develop and execute individualized radiation treatment plans Collaborate with medical staff to ensure coordinated patient care Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary Educate patients and families about treatment options and processes Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in Radiation Oncology Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss treatment strategies Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with regulations Requirements Valid MD degree from an accredited medical school Associate-level experience in Radiation Oncology Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Current medical licenses and certifications relevant to the practice Experience with advanced radiation therapy techniques is preferred Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Schedule:
7:30a-4:00p, specific shifts No call requirement
Daily Volume:
19-25 patients
Support Staff:
Nurse navigator, dosimetrist, and physician Must be board-certified Paid travel & lodging
