Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing insurance processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating seamless communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding practices, and insurance verification processes. Our office uses Dentrix Dental software and is open from Monday to Friday.

//www.chasingsmilesllc.com/ Responsibilities Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments. Manage and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Process claims using CDT (Dental) coding systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to managed care guidelines. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their insurance inquiries and coverage details. Collaborate with dental office staff to ensure proper coding and billing procedures are followed. Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to insurance claims or payments. Stay updated on changes in medical coding practices and insurance policies to ensure compliance. Requirements Experience with proficiency in CDT coding Familiarity with medical records management and insurance verification processes. Experience in managed care environments preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding practices. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Previous experience in a dental office setting is mandatory Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Job Type:
