This is a hands-on management position . The ideal candidate has strong Medical Assistant experience, has successfully supervised employees, and can take ownership of a busy medical office. Dependability, attendance, and healthcare management experience are extremely important for this position. Responsibilities Supervise and support approximately 6 employees Manage attendance, scheduling, staffing, and coverage Hold employees accountable for performance and responsibilities Train and onboard staff Oversee daily office operations and patient flow Monitor provider schedules and identify scheduling issues Oversee insurance verification and prior authorization workflows Support TMS, Spravato, ketamine, and psychiatric workflows Address patient concerns and operational problems Ensure policies and procedures are followed Coordinate with providers, billing, and administrative teams Perform Medical Assistant duties and assist providers when needed Step in to support front-desk and office functions when necessary Requirements Medical Assistant experience required 3+ years of medical office/outpatient healthcare experience 1+ year of supervisory or management experience Strong history of reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance Experience supervising and holding employees accountable Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations Experience with EHR/practice-management systems Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Comfortable making decisions and resolving day-to-day problems independently Willingness to be hands-on and assist wherever needed Behavioral health, psychiatry, TMS, Spravato, ketamine, specialty medicine, and AdvancedMD experience are preferred but not required.
Pay:
$25.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
