(IROC) is seeking an experienced clinic manager based out of its office in Apple Valley, CA. IROC operates several multispecialty clinics providing medical, surgical, radiation oncology, pharmacy, and diagnostic radiology services. The practice manager ensures that the clinic runs smoothly and offers high-quality oncology care to every patient. The practice manager has the responsibility to ensure the clinic is adhering to regulatory standards, following all safety protocols, and managing patient care. The department leads will be the clinic manager's direct reports. During day-to-day operations, the practice manager may engage in the following tasks:
  • Provide a strong leadership presence while promoting a positive and cohesive working environment
  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
  • Supervise clinic staff and ensure they properly complete their daily responsibilities and take appropriate breaks
  • Ensure clinic staff are following established policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Set staff schedules, approve PTO and timecards
  • Perform annual employee reviews and provide constructive feedback on their performance to help them meet professional goals
  • Develop protocols and procedures to improve staff productivity
  • Partner in the recruitment, hiring and training of new staff members
  • Assist leadership with maintaining accountability, compliance, and operational consistency.
  • Manage facility maintenance
  • Ensure that patient records are accurate and up to date
  • Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee supplies efficiency
  • Oversee billing and claims
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures function in accordance with state and federal laws
  • Ensure strict adherence to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other privacy standards.
  • Perform quality controls
  • Facilitate communication between clinical and administrative staff Requirements and skills
  • Bachelor's degree or 10+yrs working in a clinical managerial role required
  • 5+ years prior experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting
  • 5+ years of proven success in leadership roles
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and office management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
