Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of a busy dental clinic. In this pivotal role, you will oversee administrative functions, manage staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a welcoming environment for patients. Your leadership will drive efficiency, enhance patient satisfaction, and support the overall success of the practice. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in medical office management, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional healthcare service. Duties Supervise daily clinic operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and record management using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix Manage fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, and billing processes to optimize revenue flow Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to maintain a motivated team Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of medical records and patient information Coordinate with dental professionals and medical staff to streamline clinical workflows and improve patient care quality Monitor clinic inventory levels, procurement processes, and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth operations Implement policies related to managed care, utilization management, and JCAHO standards to uphold accreditation requirements Provide medical administrative support by managing appointment schedules, patient communication, and insurance claims processing Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management or dental office experience with a strong understanding of healthcare operations Supervising experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is essential Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology is required Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting and financial oversight Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Background in medical administrative support or clinic experience preferred Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising staff in a healthcare setting Familiarity with hospital or acute care environments is a plus Join us as we strive to provide outstanding dental care while fostering a positive work environment.
