Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes Efficiently using dental practice management software such as Ascend or Dentrix. Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance claims processing with systems like Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks. Schedule appointments accurately while managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette. Collect and review patient medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality at all times. Assist with dental billing, coding and documentation review to support accurate care plans and billing procedures. Maintain organized filing of medical records, dental charts, and office documents while managing electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently. Support office management tasks including filing, data entry (10 key typing), and supporting front desk operations to ensure seamless clinic flow. Qualifications Proven experience in a dental front office setting with familiarity in clinic or dental office experience. Strong knowledge of Dental terminology, CDT coding, and Dental billing procedures. Proficiency with Eaglesoft or Dentrix; experience with health information management is a plus. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; ability to navigate multiple software platforms efficiently. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Ability to handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA standards while managing documentation review and insurance verification tasks. Prior clinic or dental office experience is
