Desert Med Aesthetics is a physician-led medical aesthetics practice in the heart of Indian Wells, California, one of the Coachella Valley's most prestigious communities. We offer a curated range of non-surgical treatments, including injectables, laser services, and advanced skincare, delivered by a passionate and highly skilled clinical team. We're growing, and we're building the operational foundation to support that growth. We hold active Joint Commission (JCAHO) accreditation and operate on the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS/Traction). We are looking for a sharp, growth-minded Practice Manager to run day-to-day operations and help us scale.
THE ROLE
You own the business engine. You are accountable for revenue, team performance, patient experience, and operational efficiency. You work directly with the physician-owner to execute on the practice growth plan and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Revenue & Growth Drive monthly revenue targets through conversion optimization, membership programs, upsell treatment protocols, and retail Own the full patient journey from first touch to rebooking Partner with ownership on marketing execution and track ROI on campaigns Analyze booking data, identify gaps, and adjust staffing/scheduling to maximize capacity Operations Manage daily operations across all departments Build and enforce SOPs for scheduling, intake, checkout, and follow-up Oversee inventory management, vendor relationships, and supply costs Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and CA employment regulations Work with Nextech EMR for scheduling, patient records, and reporting Team Leadership You will manage the following staff members in their operational and administrative functions:
Front Desk & Patient Coordinator:
scheduling, intake, sales, conversion, patient communication, and checkout
Aesthetician, Nurse Injector & Laser Specialist:
administrative accountability, scheduling, sales, and performance management. Set clear KPIs across all roles, conduct performance reviews, and hold the team accountable Recruit, onboard, and train staff across all non-clinical functions Build a culture of accountability and excellent customer service Finance & Reporting Track and report weekly/monthly
KPIs:
revenue, new patients, retention, average ticket, conversion rates Develop & manage expenses budget and flag variances Work with bookkeeper on payroll and financial reporting Compliance & Accreditation Maintain and continuously update SOPs to sustain the practice's active Joint Commission (JCAHO) accreditation, developed collaboratively with the Medical Director Conduct or coordinate internal mock surveys to ensure ongoing survey-readiness across all departments Schedule and manage an annual external compliance consultant review to identify gaps and validate accreditation standing
YOU'RE THE RIGHT FIT IF YOU
Have 3-5+ years managing a medical spa, plastic surgery, aesthetic practice, or high-end service business Have led multi-role teams, including both administrative and clinical support staff Are metrics-driven and translate data into action without being asked Bonus

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $75,000 - $85,000, depending on experience OTE up to $125,000 via quarterly performance bonus Bonus tied to practice growth, operational efficiency, staff retention, and patient experience, metrics you can influence Health insurance (medical coverage available; dental/vision, details provided at interview) 401(k) with 4% employer match after 1,000 hours Paid holidays and PTO Employee discounts on treatments and products
