This role is essential in ensuring the practice runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably while delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive medical office management experience, and a passion for fostering a positive environment for both staff and patients. As the backbone of the practice, you will coordinate administrative functions, manage financial processes, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA and JCAHO standards. Your energetic approach will drive continuous improvement, team collaboration, and outstanding service delivery. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of clinic operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and medical records management using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Supervise administrative staff, dental assistants, and other team members to foster a motivated and efficient work environment. Manage fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, billing processes, and ensuring profitability of the practice. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA privacy rules, JCAHO accreditation standards, and managed care requirements. Coordinate human resources activities including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives. Implement clinic policies and procedures to optimize workflow efficiency while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. Lead efforts in utilization management and ensure proper documentation for insurance claims processing. Experience Proven experience managing a dental office with a strong background in practice management. Knowledge of office systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks. Familiarity with fiscal management practices such as budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle management. Experience working within regulated environments adhering to HIPAA guidelines and JCAHO accreditation standards. Background in dental terminology, dental records management, and clinical workflows related to dental clinics. Prior involvement in human resources functions including hiring practices, staff training programs, and performance evaluations.
