Position:
We're seeking a warm, organized, and dependable Dental Front Office Manager / Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing dental practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll help create a positive and welcoming experience while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of front office activities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and has a solid understanding of dental terminology and office workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients with professionalism and warmth, managing the full check-in and check-out process Schedule, confirm, and optimize appointments to support the dentist's daily schedule Handle patient communications via phone, email, and in person with courtesy and accuracy Maintain and update patient records in Open Dental Verify insurance benefits and manage insurance communications Assist with billing, coding, and patient account collections Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all health regulations Collaborate closely with the dental team to support seamless patient care and a positive office flow
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental front office role (Dental Receptionist, Patient Care Coordinator) Proficiency with Open Dental or other dental management software Knowledge of dental coding , insurance verification, and claims processes preferred Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Friendly, professional demeanor with a patient-first mindset Ability to remain calm, efficient, and detail-oriented in a busy clinical environment
