Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Office Manager, where you will lead the daily operations of our busy dental practice with energy, precision, and a passion for exceptional patient care. This vital role combines administrative expertise with clinical understanding to ensure smooth practice management, outstanding patient experiences, and efficient team collaboration. As a key leader, you will oversee financial processes, staff supervision, compliance with healthcare regulations, and the effective use of dental practice management software. Your proactive approach will help foster a welcoming environment that promotes growth and excellence in dental healthcare delivery. With at least 5 years of experience. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of daily office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction Oversee fiscal management tasks such as budgeting, billing, accounts receivable/payable, and financial reporting to ensure the practice's profitability and sustainability Supervise administrative and clinical staff, providing leadership in human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of medical records and patient information Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for appointment scheduling, electronic health records (EHR), billing, and reporting purposes Coordinate with clinical staff to uphold standards of care in accordance with JCAHO accreditation requirements and healthcare regulations Monitor inventory levels for dental supplies and equipment maintenance to support seamless clinical operations Implement policies for medical administrative support functions including medical terminology documentation, medical records management, and EMR/EHR system utilization Skills Proven experience in medical office management within a dental or healthcare setting with strong supervisory capabilities Extensive knowledge of dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with eClinicalWorks or Epic is a plus Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, managed care billing, and revenue cycle optimization Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance, medical terminology, medical records handling, and healthcare regulations such as JCAHO standards Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment Proficiency in human resources practices related to staffing, training, performance management and conflict resolution Experience managing office administration tasks related to medical administrative support systems and EMR/EHR platforms This role offers an exciting opportunity for energetic professionals passionate about advancing dental healthcare services through effective management.
