In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, manage staff, and enhance patient experiences. Your expertise in medical office management and practice oversight will help create a seamless, efficient, and patient-centered practice. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team while maintaining high standards of clinical and administrative excellence. Responsibilities of the Dental Practice Manager Lead the daily operations of the dental clinic, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional patient service Manage financial aspects including budgeting, billing, coding, and revenue cycle management using systems like Open Dental, Dentrix, or Dental Supervise healthcare staff including dental assistants, hygienists, administrative personnel, and nursing staff; foster a positive team environment Oversee medical records management, EHR/EHR systems compliance (such as Epic or EMR systems), and ensure HIPAA adherence for patient confidentiality Coordinate with clinical teams to maintain high standards of care, including acute care and critical care procedures when applicable Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as JCAHO standards and health regulation policies; implement necessary policies and procedures Handle human resources functions including staffing, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution Monitor clinic performance metrics to optimize productivity and patient satisfaction while managing practice growth initiatives Qualifications Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare practice management with a strong background in medical office experience and clinic operations Demonstrated supervising experience managing teams within a healthcare setting; excellent managerial communication skills Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable Knowledge of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards; experience with medical billing and coding preferred Strong understanding of fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle processes Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in medical records management and administrative support tasks Ability to navigate Microsoft Office applications confidently; experience with patient management software and healthcare IT systems is essential Prior clinic experience in acute or critical care environments is advantageous; familiarity with managed care and utilization management practices will be beneficial Embark on a rewarding career where your leadership transforms healthcare delivery.
