We are looking for a confident, organized leader who can create a positive work environment while holding the team accountable to clearly defined responsibilities, systems, and checklists. This is a hands-on leadership position—not simply an administrative role. The right candidate will take ownership, solve problems proactively, follow through on commitments, and turn plans into action. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the front- and back-office teams. Manage employee and patient schedules to keep the practice running efficiently. Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and coach team members. Set clear expectations and hold employees accountable to their job duties, checklists, and performance standards. Oversee treatment coordination, financial arrangements, and patient follow-up. Help patients understand recommended treatment, insurance estimates, payment options, and scheduling. Monitor collections, outstanding balances, schedule effectiveness, and other key practice metrics. Address patient concerns professionally and work toward appropriate solutions. Conduct productive team meetings and maintain clear communication throughout the practice. Encourage a fun, supportive, and positive workplace without sacrificing accountability. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and established office policies. Identify operational problems and implement practical solutions. Provide consistently excellent patient service. Required Qualifications Previous dental office experience is required. Dental management or leadership experience is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, insurance, scheduling, and treatment coordination. Experience with Open Dental practice-management software is strongly preferred. Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to have direct, respectful accountability conversations. Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through. Comfortable discussing treatment costs and collecting patient payments. Able to manage competing priorities in a busy dental practice. 27-31 per hour, depending on experience
