  • for our busy and growing 24 hour emergency department. We are a fast paced, 24 hour emergency and specialty hospital located in Norwalk, CT.

At VREC Norwalk we value our team and support the full skill utilization of our veterinary assistants. Each of our specialty departments utilizes advanced technology to provide state-of-the-art diagnostics and advanced treatments and therapies to care for patients. Such as onsite CT and x-ray, ultrasonography, echocardiography, ECG, telemetry and oxygen therapy. We have the caseload to support your goals as well as the experience and mentors on site to assist you in achieving them.   • What is a Liaison?
  • ​A Liaison is the point person who helps bridge the communication between the doctor and the client and, at times, our Primary Care Veterinarians.
The Liaison will work in tandem with the doctor as needed to ensure there is a direct line of communication between the owner, pDVM and the doctor. The Liaison will provide a clear expectation of what to expect during the patient's stay, from presentation to discharge. Keeping the owner informed during every step, as well as maintaining communications with the front desk, technicians, emergency doctors and specialty veterinarians as needed. The Liaison will field and facilitate incoming phone calls for the doctor, and provide a point of contact for pet owners, and referring veterinarians. The Liaison will also give clients progress reports, fill prescriptions as needed, and assist with collecting medical histories and help restrain during physical exams. The Liaison will manage medical records, reports, provide estimates and log correspondence with clients
  • Potential Schedule:
  • Part time, Fridays and Saturdays

  • : $ 22.00 - $25.00 / hour dependent skill set, and experience
