Medical Office Practice Manager Location:
Well Established Family practice in the heart of Wilmington, Delaware Full job description Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Practice Manager to oversee the administrative and financial operations of our well-established family practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in medical office management, fiscal oversight, and team supervision. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of healthcare administration, medical records management, and office operations, ensuring the delivery of efficient, compliant, and patient-centered services. The Practice Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence, optimizing financial performance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily office operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and administrative workflows to ensure smooth practice functioning. Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, financial reporting, and managing accounts receivable and payable using Practice Management and Electronic Health Records software. Lead human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and cultivating a workplace culture that reflects and reinforces our core values. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, and OSHA requirements while maintaining accurate medical records and documentation. Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize clinic workflows, support medical administrative support tasks, and facilitate effective communication between team members. Monitor clinic performance metrics related to utilization management, managed care contracts, and patient satisfaction to drive continuous improvement. Lead patient outreach initiatives and develop targeted marketing campaigns to grow and strengthen the practice's patient base. Qualifications To thrive in this role, you should possess:
Educational Background:
Master's degree in healthcare administration preferred. Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related with 6 years' experience.
Relevant Experience:
Previous experience in a medical office management role. Demonstrating supervisory experience leading teams in a healthcare setting with a strong understanding of healthcare operations.
Leadership Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and provide exceptional patient service Proficiency in medical practice management software, Excel, Word, and QuickBooks. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations including JCAHO standards. Strong fiscal management skills include budgeting, financial management, and revenue cycle oversight. Background in medical administrative support within clinics or hospitals; experience with acute care or hospital environments is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and provide exceptional patient service. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and manage multiple priorities efficiently
Pay:
Salary Range 74,800 - 83,200
