Job Description
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Leadership Oversee all day-to-day administrative operations: scheduling, patient registration, insurance verification, and records management Ensure every policy and job description is being followed and the office runs like a well-oiled machine Keep pace with ever-changing industry regulations and implement required changes quickly and accurately Team Management & Culture Directly supervise dental assistants, receptionists, and all administrative personnel Ensure every team member is properly trained, performing at a high level, and has what they need to succeed Foster a positive, accountable, and team-first culture that attracts and retains top talent Handle personnel issues with professionalism, fairness, and a bias toward resolution Financial Management Billing, accounts receivable, and budgeting in close collaboration with the Practice Administrator Ensure financial goals are tracked, reported, and actively pursued — you're not just watching the numbers, you're moving them Identify and address financial inefficiencies before they become costly problems Patient Experience Handle escalated patient inquiries and complaints with empathy, speed, and professionalism Set the standard for patient-facing interactions — everyone on your team should model your commitment to exceptional service Implement internal marketing campaigns to build reviews, patient loyalty, and referral momentum Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure full compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and all applicable regulations — zero exceptions Coordinate and communicate all scheduled inspections (including anesthesia inspections) to the appropriate parties immediately upon scheduling Conduct regular audits and quality evaluations; use results to drive continuous improvement Technology & Inventory Oversee use of dental software and electronic health records — ensure every team member is trained and using tools effectively Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment; ensure timely ordering so the practice never runs short Stay ahead of technology trends that can improve efficiency and patient careWHO YOU ARE A
