Medical Office Supervisor

The Neurology Institute Medical Office Supervisor, Full Time We are seeking a highly experienced, organized, and dynamic Medical Office Supervisor . In this leadership role, you will oversee daily front office and medical assistant (MA) operations across all three of our Broward County office locations. This role requires a proactive leader to manage patient flow, optimize physician schedules, and maintain strict healthcare compliance. You will play a vital role in fostering a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. The Neurology Institute delivers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient neurology care. Our multidisciplinary facilities also provide outpatient rheumatology, psychiatry, neuropsychology, physical/occupational therapy, infusion, EEG, and EMG services. We pride ourselves on operational excellence and exceptional patient care.

Duties Team Leadership:

Supervise, schedule, train, and mentor front desk and medical assistant staff.

Daily Operations:

Coordinate patient scheduling, registration, check-in/out, copayments, and referrals.

Workflow Optimization:

Collaborate with clinical teams to streamline patient flow and boost clinic efficiency.

Compliance Management:

Oversee medical records to ensure strict HIPAA compliance and legal adherence.

Quality Standards:

Implement operational initiatives to enhance patient experience and meet JCAHO standards.

HR Support:

Conduct staff performance evaluations and enforce administrative policies.

Experience Private Practice Experience:

Proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced, private medical office setting.

Note:

Hospital, imaging facility, or laboratory backgrounds will not be considered solely as qualified experience.

Tech Proficiency:

Advanced, hands-on experience using the eClinicalWorks (eCW) EHR platform.

Technical Aptitude:

Strong IT troubleshooting skills and general tech-savviness.

Specialty Knowledge:

Deep understanding of medical terminology, managed care, and HMO specialist referral workflows.

Regulatory Metrics:

Demonstrated ability to track, meet, and manage MIPS measure requirements.
