Job Description

Dental Office Manager (Multi-Specialty Dental Practice)
Job Type:
Full-time Schedule:
Monday-Friday (38 to 40+ hours/week)
Location:
Key Largo, FL (In Person) About the Position We are looking for an experienced Dental Office Manager to join our growing multi-specialty dental practice. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys keeping a busy office running smoothly, building a strong team, and creating an exceptional experience for both patients and staff. We're looking for someone who enjoys leading by example, isn't afraid to jump in where needed, and takes pride in building a positive, accountable, and high-performing team. Our practice includes multiple specialties, so every day is different. We're looking for someone who can oversee the daily operations of the office, help departments work together efficiently, and keep the team focused and accountable. This position is centered around leadership and operations—not bookkeeping. Payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, provider scheduling, IT, and facility maintenance are handled by other team members so you can focus on managing the practice and supporting the team. What You'll Do Oversee the daily operations of the practice. Lead and support the front desk, treatment coordinators, hygiene team, dental assistants, and clinical staff. Keep the office running efficiently by monitoring patient flow and helping departments stay on track throughout the day. Work closely with doctors and department leads to improve communication and office efficiency. Hold regular one-on-one meetings and performance evaluations with team members. Including Quarterly Evals with staff members. Coach employees, recognize successes, and address performance concerns when needed. Monitor production, collections, treatment acceptance, hygiene performance, and other office reports to identify areas for improvement. Help implement systems and processes that improve efficiency and patient care. Oversee office inventory and ordering to ensure departments have the supplies they need. Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and office policies. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees. Lead morning huddles and team meetings. Resolve patient concerns professionally and help maintain a high level of patient satisfaction. Work alongside ownership to help the practice continue to grow and improve. What We're Looking For 3+ years of dental office management experience (multi-specialty experience is a plus). Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold employees accountable. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Experience reading and understanding dental practice reports and key performance metrics. Knowledge of dental insurance workflows, treatment planning, and practice management software (Patterson Eaglesoft experience is a plus). Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
