$5,000 We are looking for an experienced dental professional to join our motivated and ambitious team in our well-established and thriving private family dental practice in Merritt Island. We are currently seeking an experienced Dental Practice Manager who is ready to take their career to the next level by joining our dedicated team of professionals. The most important quality that we are looking for is someone that is positive and patient-focused.
What you will do:
Support the daily clinical and non-clinical operations of the office by enforcing office policies and protocols and overseeing the delivery of quality dental care Work Accounts Receivable to a healthy status Present treatment and communicate financial policy along with payment options to patients Process insurance claims Streamline operational procedures and implement solutions to increase office productivity and ensure optimal efficiency Maintain all hygiene and safety regulations as mandated by OSHA Participate and lead meetings, trainings, and huddles with staff Audit schedules for errors and/or inconsistencies and follow-up with team to course correct as needed Manage the blocking/unblocking of the schedule to reflect scheduling needs and to maximize productivity and efficiency Manage unscheduled treatment reports and ensure patients are followed up with timely Create challenges to encourage and motivate the team to ensure production goals are met daily Conduct periodic meetings to reconnect with staff and complete annual performance evaluations All other duties as assigned Who you are: You have previous experience across all facets of a dental office, 3 years or more preferred. Open Dental software experience preferred. You have a 2- or 4-year degree in business or healthcare management or other related degree (preferred but not required) Flexibility to work between the hours of 7:30 am- 5:00 pm, hours vary depending on day, Monday through Friday. You have excellent oral and written communication skills and are patient and team-focused Ability to solve problems, provide immediate solutions, and make sound decisions independently You possess a strong desire to maximize opportunities and exceed goals You exhibit a high degree of professionalism when building relationships with patients and team members.
