We're a family-owned, state-of-the-art, four-doctor small animal hospital that takes pride in providing exceptional patient care while fostering a positive, drama-free workplace where every team member is valued. We're looking for an experienced Kennel Supervisor who leads by example, takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of patient care and cleanliness, and enjoys mentoring others. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kennel department while ensuring every pet receives compassionate, attentive care. What You'll Do Supervise and lead the kennel team with professionalism and accountability. Complete management of the department, schedules, and employees. Assisting the groomer with baths, drying, and nail trims. Train, coach, and mentor kennel assistants. Ensure the department maintains exceptional standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Monitor the daily care of boarding pets. Coordinate kennel staffing and daily workflow. Maintain accurate treatment records and communicate effectively with the medical team. Ensure all pets receive proper feeding, walking, medication administration (when appropriate), enrichment, and monitoring. Assist doctors and technicians as needed with patient care and hospital operations. Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
