This pivotal role involves overseeing administrative functions, managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimizing practice efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in medical office management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care. Duties Supervise daily clinic operations, including patient scheduling, check-in/check-out processes, and medical records management using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) system E Clinical. Oversee fiscal management responsibilities, including budgeting, medical billing, coding accuracy, and financial reporting to ensure the practice remains financially healthy. Lead and manage healthcare staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative team environment aligned with healthcare management standards. Ensure compliance with HIPAA & Osha regulations, health regulation policies, and other legal requirements related to medical records, patient privacy, and safety protocols. Coordinate with medical providers to optimize clinic workflows, manage patient management software systems, and support clinical staff in acute care or dental clinic settings. Handle human resources functions such as staff scheduling, conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive workplace culture focused on exceptional customer service. Monitor quality assurance programs related to utilization management, managed care contracts, and compliance audits to uphold high standards of healthcare practice management. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice administration within clinics or dental offices. Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding (including HIPAA compliance), medical terminology, and medical administrative support functions. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing healthcare teams effectively while fostering professional development. Familiarity with health regulation policies including JCAHO standards and utilization management practices. Excellent managerial communication skills paired with customer service expertise to ensure positive patient interactions. Background in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and managing accounts receivable/payable within a healthcare setting. Acute care or dental clinic experience is highly desirable; knowledge of managed care processes is a plus.
